By Placing an order with our company you agree to the following terms and conditions, please read them thoroughly.

General terms
You understand that your files that you provide for translation, as well as completed translations, may be transferred unencrypted and involve (a) transmission over various networks; and (b) changes to match and adapt to the technical requirements of the connected networks or devices.
Order Processing
The translation time starts only after receiving and confirming the order. Orders are considered received and are put into production only if:
(1) an order has been created with complete order specifications
(2) we’ve received all the client’s files
(3) full payment received
We will always ensure that delivery schedules are adhered to. The turnaround time is specified on page Turnaround/Delivery. Orders placed on weekends and federal holidays are considered orders placed on the next business day. Orders are processed only during business hours from Monday to Friday.
Payment Terms
All orders must be prepaid.
Cancellations
Due to the speed of our turnaround, you may only cancel a job if it has not been placed on a run.
Shipping & Delivery
If you order certified translation only you will receive a PDF file with translation sent by email and uploaded to your account.
If you order a Notarized Copy of the translation, your order will be shipped by USPS Priority mail (1-3 days).
Foreign Documents Ltd. is not responsible for delays and/or damage incurred during shipping.
We are Not responsible for Delays or Damage incurred after your shipment has left our office.

Claims
Claims about the accuracy and correctness of the translation must be submitted by the client in writing no later than 3 calendar days after delivery. If such a claim is not received, our company and the client will understand that the work has been accepted. By accepting the job, the client confirms that our work fully complied with all conditions and specifications.
Quotations/Estimates
Prices posted on this website are subject to change without notice. Price quote estimates are valid for 3 business days.
Right To Refuse
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason, at any time.
Liability
Foreign Documents Ltd. warrants that every product manufactured by it meets the industry standards for such products and is free of any material defect.
Electronic Manuscripts/Images
It is the customer’s responsibility to maintain a copy of the original computer files. Foreign Documents Ltd. is not responsible for any accidental loss or damage to files with translation. Foreign Documents Ltd. does not store files with translation in your account for more than 1 month. Please save your files on your personal devices.
Translation Guarantee
We guarantee that there are no translation errors in all orders. If an order does not comply with generally accepted trading standards, we will correct the translation in 1 business day.
Credit Card Billing
Your credit card bill will be processed by PayPal. Credit card information is encrypted during transmission over the network.
Privacy Statement
We do not share with any other company the information we collect when processing orders or requesting a quote. Your information is only used for communication, billing, delivery, and translation of your documents. Your credit card information is never stored by our company.

Disputes
All disputes are resolved in the jurisdiction of New York.
Changes To Our Policy
Our company may change, modify, add or remove portions of this policy at any time, and any changes will be effective immediately upon posting.
